...or; What if I say I'll never surrender?
Just as lightning from a clear blue sky, I just stumbled across a new music video from the Foo Fighters. Great song, great video and well worth 04:40 of your time! Now, why the h£@$ did I not know anything about FF s upcomming album.
At least to me, this clearly goes to show that the record industry really have no other option than to embrace the intarweb. Traditionally news of this caliber ("Yeah! A new single, an upcomming album and a UK tour from the Foo Fighters!") would have been something I'd known about for weeks, though in 2007 I have no clue. There's no music on TV (at least not when I'm watching), I've just about completly given up on radio and months passes by between each time I visit a record store. In 2007, when one of my favourite bands announces a new album, I learn about it from marketing focused blog!...
Oh, and it's well worth a visit to YouTube just to view the video in full screen!
Hat tip to Cord Silverstein for bridging the gap between artist and fan...
